Hey there, it’s Eva from the Fair Fight team.

As the Deputy Development Director, my job is to track our fundraising every day of the year so we can plan our investments and fund our programs to protect the freedom to vote. I love my job and the important work we do, but it’s also tough — because sometimes I have to be the bearer of bad news. 

See that peak in the bar graph? That’s what we needed to raise every day in February in order to hit our goal. Unfortunately, we’ve been coming up short (by a lot). Don’t get me wrong, I understand when supporters need to take a break from giving — and we are so thankful for everyone in this community, no matter how much or how often you give. 

But now is the time to invest in voting rights, not just when the next election is in full swing. Republicans are already introducing bills to make voting harder, and we have 4 days left in February to get as close to our goal as possible. A significant portion of our fundraising comes from supporters like you, from emails like these. Will you please rush a donation now?

Every time we miss a fundraising goal, we fall behind on supplying important resources — like volunteer training supplies, educational materials to combat voter disinformation, and online ads to raise awareness about upcoming elections.
