Friends,

Earlier this month during his State of the Union address, President Biden called for Congress to pass the Child Tax Credit again — a move that would bring financial relief to millions of America’s working families. A new Congress means now is the time to put pressure on Congress to protect the hardworking Americans they were just elected to represent.

It’s past time that Congress made a commitment to prioritizing working people in America and their families by ensuring benefits like the Child Tax Credit and paid family leave. If you agree, will you sign on to our petition and demand the 118th Congress re-extend the Child Tax Credit? [[link removed]]

At the Fairness Project, we’ve been using ballot measures to pass policies for families that provide real economic support to their communities. Extending the Child Tax Credit would cut childhood poverty in half practically overnight.

Will you sign our petition urging the 118th Congress to prioritize working Americans and their families, and pass policies like extending the Child Tax Credit to make their lives better, not harder? [[link removed]]

Thanks, friends.
