New analysis from experts at the Urban Institute finds that even though overall investment in the Washington, DC, region is among the highest in the country, it has not been evenly distributed across neighborhoods—creating challenges for the District and its surrounding Maryland and Virginia suburbs.
The new data tool uncovers investment patterns in the DC region and allows users to explore how patterns vary by investment category. Local policymakers can also use this tool to explore strategies for promoting equitable investment in the region.
Register to hear from the experts themselves during their virtual event on Tuesday, March 14 and check out Urban’s research on capital flows across the country.
