Folks,

In 1967, Colorado became the first state to legalize abortion -- six years before Roe v. Wade. When I was Governor, we made it a priority to expand access to reproductive health care.

We bought tens of thousands of IUDs to distribute at public health clinics across the state. We expanded access to long-acting reversible contraception (LARC).

We reduced teen pregnancies, and at every turn, we held up a woman's fundamental right to choose and led the nation on reproductive freedom.

But Washington Republicans have threatened our progress.

Washington Republicans like my opponent are hellbent on taking us back to the dark ages. They're silencing women, stripping them of control over their own bodies, and trying to ban abortion in every state of this country.

On this day in 1973, the Supreme Court legalized abortion across the nation in Roe v. Wade. While this remains the law of the land, make no mistake: people like my opponent will do everything they can to overturn it.

Today and every day, I'm committed to fighting against those who want to strip women of their choices, dignity, and power. And I'm committed to making sure low-income communities, the LGBTQ+ community, and people of color have access to the care they need.

If you're with me, I need you to donate $10 to my campaign for U.S. Senate to defeat Gardner and help flip Colorado blue. You can donate right here:

Thanks for taking part in this fight, folks. There has never been a more important time to stand up and speak out for what's right. Together, I believe we can take back Colorado and uphold reproductive freedom for all.
