I never planned to run for office at 25. But I took the risk because I saw a problem that needed fixing and I knew that the most vulnerable needed a fighter on their side who knew their struggles. And it wasn’t easy. After months of driving for Uber on the side to make ends meet, we ultimately won. But I want to know that the struggles I faced don't continue to prevent other folks like me from running and winning.
