Fundamental freedoms for Wisconsinites are on the ballot.

Fundamental freedoms for Wisconsinites are on the ballot.

This week, Wisconsinites turned out in droves and sent a powerful message by voting to send progressive Judge Janet Protasiewicz on to the general election for the Wisconsin State Supreme Court.

Judge Protasiewicz is a democracy defender who’s served on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court for almost a decade.

Should she win in April, she would be the critical tie-breaking vote to overturn Wisconsin’s radical near-total abortion ban, redraw heavily gerrymandered district maps, and ensure the court upholds the will of voters in 2024.

With Judge Protasiewicz as an official candidate, we’re now one step closer to protecting Wisconsinites’s fundamental freedoms and our nation’s elections. But we need your help getting her across the finish line.

Sign up to join us for a texting shift to help get the vote out for the Wisconsin General Election and make sure we elect Judge Protasiewicz to the Wisconsin Supreme Court bench.

Electing Judge Protasiewicz is the clear choice. The alternative? Judge Daniel Kelly, a former state Supreme Court justice with connections to the effort by Trump and his cronies to overturn the 2020 election results through fake electors.

A vote for Judge Kelly would make the right-wing MAGA majority on the Court even more extreme. Already, the state supreme court has cherry picked maps that have kept Republicans in control of the state legislature, and outlawed ballot drop boxes, making it harder for voters to return their mail-in ballots.

With Kelly on the bench, there could be even harsher restrictions on voting. The will of the people could be overruled in future elections, and the state’s ban on nearly all abortions, regardless of the circumstances, will be upheld.

The only way to move the needle in Wisconsin and ensure the 2024 election is protected is by electing Judge Protasiewicz to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court. Sign up today to help get the vote out ahead of April 4th and work with us to create a fairer future in Wisconsin and beyond.

Thanks for everything you do.
