Due to incredible demand, Peter Gabriel extends his UK tour to include a Nottingham show! The tour marks his first solo shows outside of North America since 2014’s Back to Front Tour celebrating the era-defining album So.
i/o - The Tour will see Gabriel playing new material from his forthcoming album i/o, as well as delving into his peerless catalogue of music, with hits, fan favourites and the unexpected. For the shows, Gabriel will be joined by regular band-mates Tony Levin, David Rhodes and Manu Katché.
Peter Gabriel first came to international prominence with the success of Genesis, a band that he co-founded while still at school. Since leaving Genesis in 1975, his recording career has included eleven studio albums, film soundtracks and numerous live albums.Â

Friday 24 February marks the one-year anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. To demonstrate Nottingham's solidarity, we will be lighting the Council House in blue and yellow over the weekend.
The Nottingham Ukraine Solidarity Campaign have organised a candlelit vigil at the Brian Clough Statue on Friday evening at 6pm, as well as a march and rally on Saturday at 2pm. The march will begin at the Brian Clough Statue and end at Old Market Square.

Newstead Abbey
Pottery has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity and interest over the past few years with The Great Pottery Throw Down TV series.
Nottingham City Museums has a significant collection of mainly 20th century British studio pottery. These include loans from Derbyshire County Council and the celebrated Ballantyne Collection.
Using the fireplaces and furniture within Newstead Abbey as a linking trail, these pots find a temporary resting place within the rich context of the Abbey’s historical rooms. The trail imagines how the generations of Abbey owners might have placed the pottery around their home.

Legendary music star Donny Osmond has announced his first UK tour in six years. The pop superstar will be bringing his electrifying Vegas show to UK arenas.
Donny Osmond has earned 33 gold records: selling over 100 million albums becoming a worldwide music legend. Osmond made history by celebrating six decades in show business with the release of his album, One Night Only, a live album accompanied by a DVD of his sold-out UK tour in 2017.
The 2023 tour marks 50 years since Donny and his brothers first performed in the UK. Following Donny's solo success with Puppy Love (it stayed at No 1 for five weeks), their arrival provoked scenes of hysteria not seen since The Beatles the previous decade.
