February 23, 2023
Dear John xxxxxx,
This past week, I had a chance to visit with neighbors across our district! It was so great to hear from my constituents about how I can take our community's issues back to Congress. Check out the highlights:
Town Hall in Irving
Last week, I held my first in-person town hall of 2023 in Irving, TX. I had the chance to answer questions on a number of topics like inflation, voting rights, Ukraine, prescription drug costs, and more!

Watch my video about lowering insulin costs here. I look forward to continuing to hold our in-person town halls across the district!
Small Business Spotlight
My Marc Means Business initiative gives me a chance to work alongside the people who make our community special and support extraordinary entrepreneurs and job creators here in North Texas.
Rep. Veasey works a shift Xaman Café.
As part of this initiative, I worked a shift at the Latino-owned Xaman Café on Jefferson Avenue in Oak Cliff. Small businesses like these are the backbone of North Texas. Watch my video with the owner of Xaman Café here.
Hearing on Curbing Opioid Epidemic
I had the chance to travel to McAllen, TX, last week to join a bipartisan group of my colleagues for a hearing to discuss what Congress is doing and what we can do better to curb the opioid epidemic and save lives. Read more about it here.

Black History Month
It was great to connect with our Military Service Members during the Arlington Black Chamber of Commerce Military & Veterans Networking Brunch! Thank you for all you do for Texas Congressional District 33!

I am proud to represent you in the 118th Congress, and I look forward to sharing with you more about the work the Congress is doing and that I am doing as your representative.
If I can be of any assistance, please contact my District Offices in Dallas at (214) 741-1387 or Fort Worth at (817) 920-9086.
Sincerely,
Marc
