This Saturday, YDNC hosts its annual Resilience Reception honoring the work and accomplishments of our party's Black elected officials from all across North Carolina.
This past November, Cabarrus County was home to one of the two Red-to-Blue flips that narrowly secured Governor Cooper's veto powers.
But the work is far from over as we begin efforts to not only win local races in 2023 but to win back seats in the General Assembly, elect a new Democratic governor and members of the Council of State, and to defend Justice Mike Morgan's seat on the NC Supreme Court in 2024.
