It’s been a few weeks since I first joined Team Sharice, and all of you have made me feel so welcomed—thank you.
I came to work for Sharice because she is a fighter for Kansans. She’s won her consistently tough races because she remains focused on delivering for families across Kansas and has led the charge to defend reproductive rights, lower the cost of living, fight climate change, protect marriage equality, and so much more.
After a protracted and embarrassing Speaker election, the House GOP majority passed legislation that offers tax breaks to their rich friends and donors and attacks reproductive freedom nationwide. Instead of addressing inflation, cutting costs, or creating jobs, they’re putting their energy into baseless political “investigations” and threatening to undercut essential programs like Social Security.
