john,

When Kim was 16 years old, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Like the other 1.6 million people in America with Type 1 diabetes, she depends upon insulin to stay alive.

However, over the last 20 years, the price of insulin has skyrocketed due to Big Pharma’s greed – from $40 a vial to upwards of $300.

Lowering the cost of insulin is personal to Kim. That's why she was proud to help pass a $35 per month cap on insulin for seniors that went into effect at the beginning of the year. This insulin cap will make life saving medication more affordable for thousands of Americans, but we can't stop there.

At his State of the Union address, President Joe Biden called for an insulin cap for all Americans. We got it done for seniors, now we need to finish the job and ensure every American can afford the lifesaving medication they need.

Are you with Kim and President Biden in the fight to lower prescription drug costs? Add your name to call for an insulin cap for every American →
