A recent survey by the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools found that school districts are struggling to find qualified teachers leading to teacher and staff shortages across the state.

Educators play a vital role in the development of our children and economy, and the challenges facing our education system will have long-standing consequences as students fall behind, lose opportunities for upward mobility and the wealth gap expands.

Lauren understands how critical public education is and believes every child deserves a high-quality education.
