Hey friend,
My name is Adrian Fontes, and thanks to supporters like you, I was elected as Arizona's Secretary of State this past November. I ran against one of the biggest liars and conspiracy theorists in the country, but Arizona voters overwhelmingly chose my vision of honesty and competent leadership.
In fact, Arizona voters sent a resounding message when it comes to MAGA Fascists and liars when it came to our statewide races – they rejected all three of the Big Lie candidates, giving Democrats wins in my race, the Governor’s race and the Attorney General’s race for the first time since the 1970s.
Despite that, our party came up just a few hundred votes short of flipping the state legislature. Sadly, the AZ legislature is still controlled by MAGA Fascists that continue to let lies and easily debunked nonsense get a full hearing in their legislative committees.
So that’s why I’m reaching out.
As Secretary of State, I want to make voting better for Arizonans. I want to fix the real problems we have, come up with solutions that voters and election officials want, and put the nonsense behind us. But I’m afraid that’s not possible with the current makeup of the Arizona legislature.
Flipping the final seats we need to control the Arizona legislature is a key priority this election cycle. That’s why I’m asking you to make a donation of $5, or anything you can afford, to help myself and the AZ Dems accomplish that goal.
