As you know, the pot industry, its lobbyists, and pro-weed lawmakers are willing to do anything to further the addiction-for-profit model. Now, they are fighting to keep the dangerous loophole that legalized hemp-derived pot products open. These products, like Delta-8 THC, were made legal through the poorly written hemp legalization provisions of the 2018 Farm Bill. This year, Congress is writing a new Farm Bill and will have the opportunity to close the Delta-8 loophole.
Delta-8 THC and other hemp-derived psychoactive products are addictive and harmful to the brain. There is no federal age limit for buying Delta-8 THC, so these products are being sold to kids nationwide in gas stations and online. Congress now has the chance to act and ban these dangerous pot products.
Tell Your Representatives and Senators to Close the Delta-8 Loophole!
This may be the last chance we have to ban the production and sale of Delta-8 THC until 2028. Legalizing the sale of pot products to children is unacceptable. Please, take action now.
