We’ve heard from hundreds of Green Americans excited to plant a garden this year. Are you one of them?
I hope so, because gardens have the power to change the world.
In fact, scientists agree that growing food with regenerative practices—going organic, keeping soil healthy, and recapturing carbon back into the ground—is key to reversing the climate crisis.
It doesn’t matter if your garden is as small as a window box of herbs or as large as a baseball field full of tomatoes, beans, kale, and zucchini. Either way, you’re thinking big!
That’s why I would like to invite you to celebrate your green thumb (or someone else's) with a Climate Victory Gardens sign, made from recycled aluminum.
Make a first-time donation of $10 or more, you'll receive a beautiful, embossed, weather-proof garden sign and a year of our member publications, including Your Green Life and our Green American magazine.
Climate Victory Gardens are inspired by the collective action of Americans taken during the WWII victory garden movement, when 20 million home gardeners produced 40% of the fresh fruit and vegetables consumed in the U.S. at the time. Green America is bringing the victory garden back.
This time, it’s for the climate.
We’ve registered 15,000 Climate Victory Gardens — which will draw down 4,700 tons of carbon per year— the equivalent of not driving 38 million miles. And this year, with your support , we’ll work to double that!
Help fund this amazing program and our other high-impact climate campaigns! We are looking for 150 folks to donate $10 or more, for a CVG sign today. Will you be one of them?
