Dear Friends,
Please join us next week Tuesday at 6:30pm for the unique and compelling documentary Becoming Black by the German-Togolese filmmaker Ines Johnson-Spain.
The following week we look forward to opening the exhibit Give Us Our Husbands Back on March 8, International Women's Day. The exhibit on the Rosenstrasse Protest of 1943, the largest public demonstration against the deportation of Jews in the Third Reich, highlights the protest by courageous women and families that led to the release of their Jewish husbands. The opening at the Goethe-Institut includes the German ambassador to the US, Emily Haber, as guest speaker along with prominent historians and witnesses.
