John, my team just shared a concerning stat with me that I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain:

Since last fall’s midterm elections, our monthly recurring donations have dropped by about one-third.

That’s not entirely unexpected, but with our first FEC deadline for the next election fast approaching, it’s time for us to turn that trend around.

When our campaign team was planning my travel to battleground states last summer and fall, our recurring donors set our foundation every month before we planned each investment we made in campaigning. It’s simply the only barometer with our online fundraising that we can project that far ahead.

And the difference between the recurring donations we were seeing last September and October and what we’re seeing now could be the difference between whether or not I’m able to make a campaign trip to Ohio, Wisconsin, Nevada, or any other number of the battleground states we must win to keep our Senate majority and the White House.

So I have to ask: John, will you start making a $3 monthly recurring donation today, help us close this gap, and ensure that I can get back on the campaign trail when it matters most?
