John,
As we celebrate Black History month, I want to highlight the contributions and achievements of Black Delawareans throughout our history. From the Underground Railroad's path through Delaware to the Civil Rights Movement, our state has played a critical role in the fight for justice and equality, and we still have a long way to go.
Delaware has a rich Black history, both past and present. Our vibrant and diverse community of Black Delawareans continues to shape our state in countless ways. As we close out Black History Month, I challenge you to recognize and advocate for civil rights and justice year-round, not just in February. The Delaware Democratic Party remains committed to the ongoing struggle for true equality and justice. There is still much work to be done, and I appreciate your ongoing support as we work together to create a more just and equitable future for all.
Thank you, Betsy |
