CNN just named Rick Scott and Ted Cruz as two of the most vulnerable Republicans up for re-election in 2024.

This is great news. Democrats have an uphill battle to maintain Senate control. We’re defending 23 Democratic Senate seats and have ZERO margin for error. Flipping Florida and Texas blue could be the key to stopping Republicans’ Senate takeover.

Rick Scott and Ted Cruz are two of the most far-right politicians in the US Senate. Both are fervent Trump supporters who back the most extreme legislation.

Republican Senator Rick Scott made headlines last year for his plan to cut Social Security, raise taxes on the middle class, and make it harder to vote. Ted Cruz repeatedly justified the January 6th insurrection, attacks the LGBTQ+ community, and denies the existence of climate change.

But now, CNN is warning that Rick Scott and Ted Cruz are the GOP’s most vulnerable incumbents up for re-election! While both Texas and Florida lean towards the GOP, both are up for grabs in 2024. If we work hard — and get a head start on the dark money MAGA machine — we can beat Cruz and Scott.
