People of all stripes and in every corner of the country are making big breakthroughs on the issues facing older adults. Each year, we celebrate them with a Trailblazers in Aging Award!

The three award categories for 2023 are:
  • Innovator - This award recognizes an individual or organization who has created innovative solutions to improve the health and economic security of older adults in the community.
  • Change Agent - This award recognizes an individual or organization working to ensure that every person—regardless of gender, color, sexuality, income, or ZIP code—has the resources to age well.
  • NISC Founder - This award recognizes a senior center professional who, through leadership, innovation, collaboration, and commitment, has had a positive and lasting impact on the senior center field.
