Hey John, it’s been a minute, so I thought I’d reach out personally to update you.
Thanks to your support, we’re leading every candidate in small dollar donations. Let me explain why that’s a pretty big deal, John.
Campaigns need money in order to reach voters with their message — it’s a fact we can’t escape. In today’s age, millions of dollars in outside money usually tied to an interest or an issue can influence voters one way or another, leading grassroots campaigns like ours to spend more in order to keep up and get our message out. So building a large, active, and energetic grassroots base is absolutely critical to our success.
And with you on our side, we’ve been able to build a movement that stands up to outside spending looking to influence this race. We’re leading the charge and displaying the strength of everyday, hard-working families.
With a movement this strong, we know that spending will only increase to try to stop Helen as we get closer to Election Day. If we can strengthen our position at the top now, we’ll have enough resources to be able to handle anything that comes our way.
That’s why our team set an ambitious goal to bring in 500 online grassroots donations before the end of February. If you’re able, can you pitch in $10 before the end of the month to help us get there?
Philly deserves a Mayor that will not only restore faith in this city, but improve people’s lives through safer neighborhoods, modernized schools, and more livable communities.
Thank you for your support, John.
