One week ago, we launched our Winter Campaign fundraising drive with a
goal of raising $80,000 and signing up 200 new monthly donors by March
1.

As of this morning, the campaign is halfway over, but unfortunately, we
are not even one-third of the way to our goal.

We're not panicking . . . yet. But let's be clear: Reader support
pays for everything we do. Our server costs, the salaries for our
journalists-everything we do.
