We've just added an exciting new speaker to our webinar happening on Monday 27 February!

We're honoured to announce Jwala Rambarran from the Caribbean Policy Development Centre as our fourth speaker. He'll be speaking about countries on the frontline of the climate and debt crisis, Haiti and Guyana, and why they urgently need debt cancellation.

Join our Executive Director Heidi Chow, and now four amazing speakers as they take us on a journey from how debt cancellation was achieved, to why we need to fight for debt cancellation now.

You'll hear from:
* Kristina Rehbein – From our sister organisation Jubilee Germany, will cover the historic debt cancellation for Germany which happened 70 years ago on this day, and other key moments in the 20th century where campaigners have won debt justice.
* Jayati Ghosh – Economics professor and public intellectual will talk about the current situation with the global economy, especially in the global South, and why now is a key moment for debt cancellation.
* Jwala Rambarran – Policy expert on economic conditions in the Caribbean will speak about Haiti and Guyana, showing historical injustices and highlighting European hypocrisy towards the global South.
* Sunny Morgan – Climate activist from South Africa will talk about the current global movement on debt and climate, and why British colonialism has to be part of the conversation.
