It’s Ben Wikler, the Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. The results of our primary election are in, so now I am personally asking you to chip in $3 to defeat MAGA Republicanism and elect Janet Protasiewicz to the Wisconsin Supreme Court on April 4.

Janet Protasiewicz is a strong pro-democracy candidate who will represent our values.

Our Republican opponent Dan Kelly agrees with overturning Roe, supports Wisconsin’s criminal abortion ban, and could uphold our grossly gerrymandered maps if he was elected to the state Supreme Court. The consequences if we let that happen could be national, including in 2024.

But here’s the thing: His billionaire backers are willing to spend MILLIONS of dollars to crush our grassroots campaign to elect our commonsense candidate Janet Protasiewicz to the Court.

Look: Reporters keep saying Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court election is expected to top all-time spending records. In an off-year election like this, voter turnout will almost certainly determine this race. My team needs your support to make sure voters hear our message loud and clear:

Dan Kelly is too extreme for Wisconsin. Can you rush $3 to the PCCC and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin so we can beat MAGA extremism at the ballot box this April?

Right now, the balance of our Court is 4-3, tilted in the conservatives’ favor. But now we have a chance to replace a conservative justice.

This election will determine whether that body will have a conservative or a progressive majority until 2025. It could shape decisions on voting rights, election subversion, legislative district lines, and so much more -- and could have a larger effect on the 2024 presidential race than any other contest in the country this year.

Elections in a battleground state always come down to the wire. John, my team says the last state Supreme Court race came down to a handful of votes per ward.

We can win this, but we have to take our work seriously, keep our momentum up, and turn out voters in every corner of the state.
