Last week, I announced my top 30 priorities for the legislative session. I believe Texans support our priorities because they largely reflect the policies supported by the conservative majority in Texas. Most will pass with bipartisan support.

Every Child Should Have Access to Every Education Opportunity Possible




School Choice [[link removed]] [[link removed]]




Biden made his statement while attacking Republicans on other issues. His supporters say he misspoke. That's not shocking. He says things he has to take back every day.




Whether he mistakenly spoke on this issue is not clear. What is clear is he said what most parents in Texas and I believe and support. In the meantime, we will assume he meant it until he says otherwise.




Every child should have access to every education opportunity possible. We've passed a school choice bill twice out of the Senate since I became Lt. Governor. The Governor is supportive and it is my hope the House will join us by passing this fundamental right for all parents and students this year. Over 80% of Texas Republican voters support school choice.
