John,
Forty-seven years ago today, the Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision affirmed what women and pro-choice activists already knew: that every American has the Constitutional right to choose whether or not to have an abortion without any government intervention.
But the right to access safe, legal abortion is under attack like never before. Just this month, over 200 anti-choice members of Congress filed an amicus brief demanding the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade. What's been made abundantly clear by far-right extremists is that our fight for reproductive justice is far from over, John.
It's critical the pro-choice movement has the resources it needs to fight these latest attacks on women's rights and bodily autonomy. Will you rush a donation now to be split between Dwight and Planned Parenthood Action Fund to help us fight back?

Make no mistake: overturning Roe v. Wade would have devastating consequences. Over 25 million women would be at risk of losing access to this incredibly common procedure. In fact, one in four women in America will have an abortion in her lifetime.
But this is also a racial justice issue, John. Of those 25 million women who would lose access to safe, legal abortion in their state:
-- more than 4.3 million of them are Hispanic or Latino;
-- nearly 3.5 million of them are Black or African American;
-- more than 800,000 are Asian; and
-- nearly 300,000 are American Indian or Alaska Native.
It's not surprising then that 73% of Americans don't want to see Roe v. Wade overturned. But we're going to need financial resources if we're going to protect this landmark decision. So in honor of Roe's 47th anniversary, chip in whatever you can today so Dwight and Planned Parenthood Action Fund can protect abortion access for decades to come.
