John —
One of the most important elections of 2023 isn’t a Senate or Congressional race — it’s an election for a swing seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Last night, Judge Janet Protasiewicz, who campaigned on defending abortion rights and democracy, secured the most votes in the primary for the decisive seat on Wisconsin’s highest court. Now she’ll face off against Daniel Kelly in the general election, an anti-abortion former justice who advised Republicans on a “fake elector” scheme in an attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.1
In a state that could determine the fate of the 2024 presidential election, it’s imperative that we stop an election denier from becoming the deciding vote on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. But we know Republican megadonors are prepared to spend big to maintain their majority in what will be a five-week sprint.
With the election coming up on April 4th, we need to get to work right now if we’re going to raise the resources to fight back against Republican big money attacks by making sure working people show up at the polls.
Will you rush a donation of $10 now to help us mobilize voters in Wisconsin? Abortion rights, democracy, and so much more is on the line — and we just have five weeks to turn out the vote in this race.

The stakes of this election could not be higher.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court is set to decide in the coming year on whether to allow heavily gerrymandered maps drawn by Republicans to go forward, as well as on the legality of an abortion ban that has been on the state’s books since before the Civil War.
Conservatives have held the majority on the court for the last 15 years. But with one conservative retiring this year, we have a huge opportunity to flip the court and elect a pro-choice, pro-voting rights justice as the deciding vote.
This election is gearing up to be one of the most watched — and most expensive — of 2023. That’s why we are getting to work right now, reaching out to voters in Wisconsin and ensuring they know the stakes of this election.
Make a donation of $10 to the Wisconsin Working Families Party to help turn out voters and elect a majority to the Wisconsin Supreme Court that will protect abortion rights and our democracy.
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
