It’s been almost a year since the start of the war in Ukraine. That’s nearly 365 days of destruction, fear, loss and uncertainty that has enveloped the lives of children in the country and beyond.

But we’ve also seen empathy, humanity, joy and love break through in the past year. And these moments of joy are just as important to reflect on as we take a look back on the defining experiences for children in Ukraine.
