Did you see this? This week, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene publicly called
for a "separation" of red and blue states — in effect publicly calling for
Republican-held states to secede from the rest of the country.

It's abundantly clear: Marjorie and other MAGA Republicans have clearly
never glanced at the Constitution. For a party that considers itself
"patriotic", it's alarming to see some of these same voices openly calling
for secession.

Our movement isn't backing down. We are as committed as ever to fight the
GOP's attempts to dismantle the democracy they so clearly detest — but we

Let us be clear: these extremists are not patriots. We cannot underscore
how dangerous this type of rhetoric is. We've seen the consequences of
their behavior with an increase in far-right violence that culminated in
the seditious attack on our democracy on January 6. The far-right "fringe"
in Republican circles has become the mainstream. They have no solutions,
except apparently to encourage secession by a "national divorce."

We know that the American people are behind us too. Despite the pundits
telling us all otherwise, democracy itself proved to be a winning issue
that resonated with voters, with most Trump-backed election deniers
losing.

These far-right extremists are obsessed with control — control over our
lives, our bodies, our futures, and our democracy. We will not let them
succeed. Our coalition is building an inclusive and pro-democratic
movement.

Failing to act would be disastrous for millions across the country. Our
determination to strengthen our democracy will continue with or without
