In disturbing proof of the danger driven by celebrity antisemitism,

ADL has documented at least 30 antisemitic incidents that directly reference Ye — the celebrity formerly known as Kanye West, whose antisemitic outbursts made headlines. These incidents include vandalism, violent harassment and campus propaganda. We urge you to stay informed so you can speak out against hate, and we encourage you to report any antisemitic incidents you encounter to ADL.

Extremists have echoed Ye’s antisemitic comments, which included inflammatory tropes about Jewish power and Holocaust denial. The slogan “Ye is Right” surfaced almost immediately after his remarks last fall.

The hate grew quickly. The ADL Center on Extremism has tracked dozens of incidents that amplified his message. Incidents include:

- Newport Beach, California: Someone wrote the words “Kanye West is right” and “Kill All Jews” alongside swastikas on the wall of a high school bathroom.
- New York, New York: Perin Jacobchuk, 32, allegedly physically assaulted a Jewish man in Central Park while yelling “F*** you, Jew!” and “Kanye 2024!”
- Gaithersburg, Maryland: A group of individuals physically and verbally assaulted a Jewish person in a grocery store, making antisemitic remarks and saying, “Yeah, do it for Kanye!”
- California, New York and Florida: Extremist groups dropped antisemitic banners supporting Ye in three states. They also used a laser projector to cast antisemitic messages onto buildings at TIAA Bank Field at the end of the Georgia/Florida football game, with one reading, “Kanye is right about the Jews.”
