Our state legislature plays a major role in our daily lives. While not everything they do might make the headlines, they have a huge impact on our public education, our roads, our environment, and more.

But right now, Arizona’s state legislature is being used as a political playhouse for the extreme wing of the Republican party – who hold just a narrow 1-seat majority in both the State House and Senate.

GOP legislators are sending widely out-of-touch, do-nothing bills to Katie’s desk (which, thankfully, she can veto!) that aren’t addressing the pressing issues Arizonans are facing.
