Salaam, We are just a few days away from our annual town hall, “Honoring the Legacy of Black Muslims,” to be held virtually this Saturday, Feb. 25 at 6pmEST.
We have an extraordinary lineup of speakers from the fields of politics, comedy, law, social justice, and much more. I am so thrilled to announce that we have a new speaker: Dr. Yusef Salaam, an exonerated member of the Central Park 5.
Dr. Yusef Salaam is a published poet, public speaker and powerful advocate for criminal justice reform. He regularly speaks out against injustice by sharing his story and fighting for social change. He is part of “The Central Park Exonerated Five”.
