Hi John,

It’s news you may have missed, but the leadership position of one of the world’s most powerful financial institutions is up for grabs. The President of the World Bank has announced that he will step down. This clears the path for someone new to take control of the bank’s mission to end extreme poverty.

Names are being circulated and an opportunity to change the way this powerful bank works is on the horizon. In its eighty year history the World Bank has done many things, but it hasn’t kept pace with a changing world. For example there has never been a female President of the World Bank!

We believe that with a new leader should come a new bank, and that now is the time for a reset, to make the bank fit for the future. Do you agree? Sign our petition.

Right now we’re all facing a long list of challenges which no country can solve alone, so we need our global institutions to work.
