Richmond, VA- Leon Benjamin makes a statement after last night's special election results.
"We are saddened by the results of last night's election. While we worked very hard to bring conservative values to the 4th District, we did not prevail in turning the district red.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out yesterday to vote in the Special Election. The republic was hard at work even though we came up short.
I could not have made it this far without my wonderful team and volunteers. I owe them my gratitude. I also want to thank my wife, Maria, and my children for standing by me through this election. I also want to thank my congregation for their prayers and support.
We will continue to work hard to bring conservative values to the 4th and fight for the American people. I am committed to fighting against tyranny, wokeness, division, and opponents to our Constitution. Communism, Marxism, and Socialism have no place in our country.
As a man once said, "United we stand, divided we fall."
Let us continue to move forward to see this nation become a shining city on a hill that cannot be hidden. God Bless America."
