John,
There is an election for Wisconsin Supreme Court on the ballot in the fast-approaching April 4th election and the outcome will determine the balance of the Court.
In yesterday’s primary, it was determined that Dan Kelly and Janet Protasiewicz will be on the April ballot. Simply put, if Dan Kelly doesn’t win this spring, a new leftist majority on the Court will quickly reverse the conservative policies we fought so hard to enact. Right-to-work and other important policy victories would be history.
The liberal Protasiewicz has also repeatedly called our congressional and state legislative maps “rigged” and Democrats are ready to make the Court revisit them. She is campaigning on this issue. New maps would severely disadvantage Republicans at every level. In particular, WI-01 and WI-03 would likely become unwinnable. We have worked hard for our 6-2 federal delegation, as well as our majorities in the state Senate and Assembly. This one state-level election could undermine all that work – and quickly.
The Republican Party of Wisconsin provides critical party-building support, such as voter turnout programs, that can make all the difference in critical elections across the state. I strongly urge you to join me in investing in the Republican Party of Wisconsin to support these efforts!
Elections in Wisconsin are all about turnout, and many voters are unaware of the spring races – we have the data and the turnout tools to get our voters to the polls. I have full confidence in the RPW strategy led by our new Chairman, Brian Schimming. If they are funded, we will make pivotal wins. Truly, your support now could save us millions upon millions in subsequent races.
I am incredibly grateful for your help in this endeavor and I look forward to our continued partnership for a better Wisconsin and America.
Sincerely,
Ron Johnson
