Every one of those 61 million babies had a beautiful face like this.
Every one of those beautiful babies had a heartbeat, and blood flowing through their veins and their fingers. Most of those beautiful babies had brains and spinal cords totally formed.
All of those beautiful babies had a future. Abortion destroyed all that.
The members and leaders of Missouri Right to Life saw the devastation many decades ago. They vowed at that time to do something to stop this violation of these innocent unborn babies. It is a mission and a cause that we recommit ourselves to every day.
Just like the many hundreds of Missouri Right to Life members and other pro-lifers who will be marching in Washington D.C. this Friday at the March for Life, we recommit ourselves to the difficult tasks, the long legislative hearings, the long days, the strenuous journeys, the inclement weather, the many hours down on our knees, the hours on the sidewalks, the use of our own funds to support pregnant women in need of help.
In humility, we will boldly continue to do everything we can to save the lives of innocent children. We will educate. We will advocate. We will humbly continue to help confused mothers and fathers avoid the physical, emotional and spiritual consequences of taking the life of their own child. We will continue to elect pro-life legislators and we will pass pro-life laws until abortion is unthinkable again.
We are all called to defend those who can’t defend themselves.
