I ran for president for three reasons -- to restore the soul of the nation, to rebuild the backbone of the nation, and to unite our country.

Over the past two years, the economy has created 12 million new jobs under Kamala and me -- the strongest two years of growth in history by a longshot.

We also made the biggest investment in American infrastructure since President Eisenhower's administration -- in highways, bridges, ports, airports, clean water systems, high-speed internet, and rail. All of it.

I have to be honest: For as much as we’ve gotten done over the past two years, we have some unfinished business on our agenda. We need to make the cost of insulin $35/month for every American, pass affordable child care and family paid leave, ban assault weapons, codify Roe v. Wade, and so much more.

Republicans keep talking about what they're going to do. So, let's make it real simple: If Republicans try to cut Social Security -- that's not going to get passed by the Senate in my view, but if it does -- I'll stop them. I got a veto. And if they send me a national ban on the right to choose, I will stop them.

But stopping Republicans is just the half of it. It is going to take electing Democrats up and down the ballot to keep building a better America in the next few years. And the Democratic National Committee is at the heart of that work.
