We’re several weeks into the 2023 legislative session, and DFLers have hit the ground running to improve the lives of Minnesotans in every corner of the state. They’ve been moving fast, so I wanted to make sure you were up to speed on the latest:

Fighting climate change
Governor Walz signed a bill leading Minnesota to 100% clean energy by 2040, protecting our environment for our children and grandchildren.
Codifying abortion rights into law
Governor Walz signed the PRO Act, making Minnesota the first state in the country to codify abortion rights into law since Roe v. Wade was overturned.
Helping working families
The Minnesota House DFL passed earned safe and sick time and universal school meals while Governor Walz signed a bill providing $100 million in tax cuts for Minnesotans.
Elections have consequences, John. None of this would have been possible without the Minnesota DFL and our people-powered organizing, media, and advertising campaigns in 2022.
