John,
Here’s our North Star:
A more just and equitable society where no one is trafficked.
With our eyes on that North Star, here’s what we’re up against:
A global, $150 billion industry of sex and labor trafficking affecting nearly 28 million people. Traffickers who exploit vulnerabilities like poverty, trauma, racism, sexism, and the other challenges that result from broken and biased systems.
Here’s how we address it:

We directly help victims, survivors, and vulnerable groups secure their freedom and rights. Via the National Human Trafficking Hotline and other initiatives, we support their immediate needs, build trust, and better understand their experiences.
We drive a smarter response to trafficking across the field by generating and sharing actionable, relevant insights. We are responding to findings that help us understand how trafficking is really happening, how to prevent and disrupt it, and what victims and survivors truly need.
We promote equity-based public policies and socio-economic conditions. We increase the public’s commitment to solving the problem, driven by an accurate understanding of trafficking and its root causes.
We keep survivors at the center of all we do

Service providers, community leaders, government policymakers, law enforcement, private-sector institutions, media and social influencers…
And YOU. This social justice movement only succeeds with you in it.
