John,

You may have heard about a case in Texas in which a Trump-appointed judge could effectively ban a major abortion pill from being accessed across the U.S. [1] In a blatant attempt to curtail our rights, this case has sought to cast doubt over mifepristone, one of the two medications most commonly used for abortion with pills.

We know that medication abortion is a vital option for many, especially those who choose to self-manage an abortion in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

Though a misoprostol-only abortion regimen can be an effective option, we want to take this moment to unequivocally stand up and fight for the rights of people to access the care they want in whatever method they choose.

Care should never be compromised.

Join us in fighting for the full spectrum of abortion options.

Sincerely,

Shireen Shakouri
Deputy Director, Reproaction

P.S. We’ve said it before: Abortion pills are magic!
