We need your help to bring subsidized affordable housing to the Sunset! The 2550 Irving project would give secure and stable housing to hundreds of people, and give them access to transit, shopping, and Golden Gate Park within a few blocks. This housing would give more revenue to the businesses on the corridor and would be a great asset to San Francisco.
San Francisco should have abundant and affordable housing so that everyone who wishes to live here, can live here. However, this housing is facing intense opposition and it's been delayed for months because of soil quality concerns that the project will address. Please tell the decision makers that you support this housing.
Action 1: Take three minutes to send your support for affordable housing for our neediest!

Thank Mayor Breed for creating solutions

On February 7, Mayor London Breed issued an executive order to build housing faster. This order will help us build more abundant and affordable housing, and it will help us fulfill our goals to build 82,000 homes by 2031. Please sign our letter thanking the Mayor for her brave and innovative stance to help San Francisco be a welcoming, affordable city.

- In a wealthy South Bay town, one person has launched a “builder’s remedy“ project to override local zoning to build needed affordable housing. Is this the first of many?
- Intensive government outreach and attention has solved homelessness in the Castro. But high costs may make it difficult to scale to the entire city.
- Tiny homes for homelessness in the Mission have been delayed due to pushback
- A builder won approvals for mixed-income housing in the Mission to community praise. But it took six years, and we need to build housing faster.
