Please act at once. For Liberty, Ron Paul Chairman ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Norm Singleton <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Jan 21, 2019 at 9:00 PM Subject: Graham’s been on the wrong side a lot but. . . To: Ron Paul <[email protected]>, C4L Staff <[email protected]> He’s been wrong on a lot in past, including on spying, civil asset theft, gun control (specifically Red Flags), never-ending war, indefinite detention, drones, etc. . . Senator Graham even voted for Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch who helped set off the whole Deep State impeachment coup. Basically, throw a dart at a dartboard with our issues on it and it’ll hit one where Senator Lindsey Graham has been on the opposite side of our supporters. Senator Graham even got caught on video rolling his eyes at Senator Paul on the Senate floor during the debate on NSA surveillance in 2015. But . . . could Senator Graham be starting to see the light? The Deep State’s recent spying abuses at least have his lips moving the right direction now saying, “We have to address the underlying problem. The system and the hands in a few bad people can do a lot of damage”. With a battle looming over reauthorization of the so-called “USA Freedom Act” and some of the Deep State’s most intrusive surveillance powers, we’ve got to do all we can to force Senator Graham to put his money where his mouth is. That starts with demanding Graham’s Senate Judiciary Committee hold hearings to investigate Deep State spying abuses, beginning with the FBI spying on Campaign for Liberty. If we can FORCE Congress to investigate their abuses, the Deep State’s whole scheme could backfire -- right as the battle over reauthorization comes to a head. Dr. Paul, I recommend we deliver your letter to Senator Graham early next week with as many of our grassroots supporters cosigning your letter as possible. We know Senator Graham may want to dismiss the concerns we raise in the letter, but he won’t be able to if enough patriots sign their name alongside yours demanding hearings. With your approval, the C4L team will work to get as many Campaign for Liberty supporters as possible to sign the letter by Monday night. --Norm |
