Friend, D.C. politicians seem so out of touch with what happens every day in America. What’s even worse: members of Congress have every incentive to play to the extremes -- and are routinely punished for working with the other party. Our founder and CEO, Nancy Jacobson, recently addressed this in an op-ed published in The Hill. Her article paints a vivid picture of a legislative process that has turned into political gang warfare, where victory isn’t defined by solving problems but instead by insulting the other side to win political points. “Their incentive is to placate the extremes and punish members who reach across the aisle. And that’s the root of the problem,” Nancy wrote in her op-ed. This is why our movement is so important and so different. We reflect the sentiments of most Americans who want unity and bipartisanship, and we stand up for those with the courage to do what’s right. We are working hard across the country to build a coalition of voters who want to see change, but we can’t do it without your help. Friend, will you help us spread our message by pitching in $5, $10, or $25 to No Labels 2024 so we can continue recruiting volunteers and building our team for 2024? |
