“$19.68: 1968 is the year I was in combat in Vietnam and I want a President who understands war and who will not call me weak because I have PTSD."

“I am donating $31.00 for each year I taught Kindergarten. It is my fervent hope that starting in 2020 with the election of Mayor Pete, teachers will once again be proud to acknowledge and talk about the President of the United States without being embarrassed. I'm sure that I speak for teachers all across America when I say that day in and day out we try to teach our children how to be kind, be respectful and show integrity. Mayor Pete embodies all of these qualities. It will be wonderful again to be able to show our children an example of what it means to really be presidential.”

“I'm donating $18.00 to recognize January 18‚ the day almost one year ago that doctors told my beloved wife nothing else could be done to treat her lung cancer. She passed away 7 weeks later. We were fortunate to have good insurance but I'm counting on Mayor Pete to fix our very broken healthcare system and find a way to make insurance available and affordable for those who want/need it.”
