John, a few weeks ago, I asked you what issues were on your mind. In response, many of you shared your concerns about growing threats to democracy – and it's no wonder why.

From Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine and the democracy their people hold dear to the Jan. 6 insurrection here at home, it feels like democracy everywhere is at risk.

In the Senate, I'm doing everything I can to safeguard democracy abroad and here at home. I'm fighting hard to pass voting rights reform, support our allies in Ukraine, strengthen the integrity of our elections, and ensure that residents of Washington, D.C., have the constitutional right to representation that they deserve.

But unfortunately, far too many of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are aligning with insurrectionists, undermining our elections, and doing everything they can to weaken the right to vote. You have my word that I'll fight night and day to stop them. But if we lose our Senate majority, these right-wing radicals will have full rein to push their dangerous, anti-democratic agenda.

So please, if you have anything extra to spare tonight, will you make a donation to invest in a pro-democracy Senate majority? I'm counting on grassroots people like you to stand with me in this fight.

I believe to my core that if people like you and me continue to believe in the power of democracy and fight to defend it, we will win. History has always been on the side of progress, democracy, and freedom for all.

With gratitude,

Tom
