Dear John,

Transportation is the highest carbon-emitting sector in the U.S. and companies own or operate more than half of the vehicles on the road. So, if we’re going to tackle climate change and reduce transportation related emissions at the breadth and scale necessary, electric vehicles must be a core part of our strategy—starting with corporate fleets.

That’s why Ceres is launching the Corporate Electric Vehicle Alliance, a collaborative group of companies focused on accelerating the U.S. transition to electric vehicles.
We’re working with some of the world’s most innovative companies with some of the largest vehicle fleets in the U.S., including Amazon, AT&T, DHL, IKEA, Siemens, and many more to accelerate and streamline fleet electrification. Members of Ceres’ Corporate Electric Vehicle Alliance will work together to signal market demand for a more diverse array of electric vehicle models, advocate for policies that boost electric vehicle deployments, and share best practices for corporate fleet electrification.

These companies operate large fleets of on-road vehicles that, if electrified, would not only significantly reduce U.S. transportation emissions, but could save companies millions of dollars in fuel and maintenance costs each year.

Learn more about the Ceres Corporate Electric Vehicle Alliance, and stay tuned for more electric vehicle news soon.
Thank you!
