We all know that the Florida governor recently banned the teaching of AP African American Studies, but folks, desperate to not be outdone, Glenn Youngkin has hopped on the bandwagon. He’s told his Education Secretary to “investigate” the course and potentially ban it in Virginia public schools.

This is a ridiculous attack on the teaching of black history. This “critical race theory” campaign is just a scare tactic the GOP uses to gain more power, we can’t let them win. VADEMS need to support each other to win critical races in 2023 so that we can protect education in our Commonwealth.
