Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), an ideological ally of Lauren Boebert's, recently proposed what she calls a "national divorce" in which those who identify with "red" states and those who identify with "blue" states would somehow separate.

The logistics of her half-baked plan are too ridiculous to attempt explanation; but the import behind the QAnon Congresswoman's call for secession is this: today's GOP is completely hijacked by the most radical, racist, and regressive group of conspiracy theorists to ever hold major federal elected office.

MTG and Lauren Boebert now represent the mainstream MAGA Republican view—the most extreme and openly hateful agenda to infect the Republican Party since the Civil Rights era.

Thankfully, there is hope that many of these extremists can be defeated—if we work together to build coalitions that win even in lean Republican districts and states.
