 Dear John,  Abortion Access Front is in DC this week with some of our best activist friends to celebrate 47 years of legal abortion the best way we know how. Today Lizz, Kat and Joyelle are visiting the Dupont Clinic with some sweet treats to honor and thank those amazing folks for remaining steadfast in their commitment to provide abortion care in the midst of continual harassment and threats. They need something a little extra since a swarm of anti-abortion goons has descended on Washington for the March for Life. And that’s what the rest of the week is about… standing up to this sea of Christofascists and their false piety and concern about “the babies”. We know that they aren’t truly “pro-life”. They don’t care about babies needing health care or babies in poverty or babies in cages at the border or babies being shot in their classrooms. They do care about forcing people to give birth. They care about white male supremacy. They care about winning at any cost, and wiping their asses with the Constitution. So why do we scream into the void of 400,000 dickbags? Because we simply won’t let those who would dismantle Roe v. Wade be the last word. They don’t represent the majority, and as a society we’ve let these anti-choice tyrants and terrorists go unchallenged for far too long. That’s why we counter them.
