It shouldn’t be a surprise that Mad’s unwavering advocacy for abortion access and reproductive rights has gotten the attention of the far right. In fact, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson recently attacked Mad for wearing a pin in support of abortion access. They can say what they want – Mad will not be silenced on reproductive rights.

Politico reported on Democrats' new Regional Leadership Council, where Mad, along with 12 other House Democrats, will help guide messaging strategy around legislative wins in Washington. She is excited to get to work! Read more here:
Lastly, Mad attended President Biden’s State of the Union address at the beginning of the month. Kelsey Leigh, an abortion rights advocate from Pittsburgh, was her invited guest.
